Questions people ask

The short answers, each with where to read more. If yours isn't here, write to hello@nirvaana.ai.

What is Nirvaana, in one line?

An assistant that remembers your work: the prices, promises, deadlines and who said what, so tomorrow you don't start over. Start here.

Where do I use it?

In the Nirvaana app for Mac and Windows, from nirvaana.ai/download, and in Claude or another AI app once you connect it. The Mac and Windows app.

What does it cost?

7 days free, then $9.99 a month. Cancel anytime in Settings. One price for everyone, students included. What will you use Nirvaana for? comes first (pick any, or skip it), then Start your free trial. If your trial or subscription ends, Nirvaana is read-only: you can still sign in, see everything and export it. Free trial and subscription says how it works.

Who can see what I tell it?

Only you, and the services that run it (Privacy). Your own world is yours alone. Something reaches a world you share with other people only when you say yes on its approval card, and the card says who will see it first. Privacy and safety.

Is my work used to train AI?

No. Nirvaana doesn't train models on your conversations or worlds, and Anthropic's terms forbid it; the Privacy policy lists every company that processes your words.

Will it send, post or pay for me?

Not without your yes. Anything that goes out to another person or another place waits for you to say yes to that one thing. What Nirvaana can see and do.

What's a world, and what's a moon?

A world is what a group knows and how it likes things done: your company, a crew, a job. A moon is a smaller world inside one, with its own people, such as a team or a project. Worlds and moons.

What's an automation?

Something Nirvaana does for you the same way each time: a weekly recap, a check before every job. They are on one list, Automations. Automations.

Do I need Claude?

No. Nirvaana works on its own, in its Mac and Windows app. If you already use Claude, connect Nirvaana to it and Claude knows your world too. Connect Claude.

Can it read my email, calendar or files?

Only the apps you connect, on Your connections, where you see their Connect button: such as Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Drive, or Microsoft 365 for Outlook and OneDrive. Each says what it sees before you connect it, and anything it would do in one waits for your approval. Connecting your apps.

Can a teammate pick up my Claude Code work?

Yes, once you allow it: a session can leave a handoff so a teammate's session picks up where it stopped. Handoffs.

Can I bring my team over from Slack?

Yes, from a Slack export, channel by channel, with a draft to check before anything is made. Moving your Slack in.

How do I talk to my team?

In a world's Team chat tab, together, or in Messages, one to one. Team chat and Messages.

Can I take my world with me, or delete it?

Yes. In Settings you can download everything Nirvaana kept for you as a file you can open anywhere, and delete your account. The Your data page says what deleting removes.

Something isn't working.

Most things are fixed by a new sign-in code, or by waiting a minute and saying it again. When something goes wrong.
