Start here

1. Go to nirvaana.ai. You land on a page that says “Welcome back.”
2. If there is a button for the account you use for work, press it. Sign in the way you normally would.
3. If there is no button, or the one you press will not work with your company account, use the email link underneath. It reads “Or email me a link” when there are buttons above it, and “Email me a link” when there are none. Type your work address and press Send.
4. Open the email and press the link. It works once, and only in the browser you asked from. Ask for a new one any time.

Nirvaana is closed while it is being tested. Only addresses on the list can get in. If yours is not on it, the page says so and tells you to ask Benicio.

1. On the sign-in page, press “I have an invite code” at the bottom. It opens a page that says what works today and what is still missing, so you can read both before you decide.
2. Under “If you have a code”, type the code and the address you will sign in with, then press “Use this code”.
3. That puts your address on the list. Press “Sign in” and sign in with that same address, by whichever button you use.

If the code does not work, the page says “That code isn't open.” It words every problem with a code the same way on purpose. Ask whoever gave it to you whether it is still good.

A calm page with today's date, the Nirvaana mark, and one large button: “Wake up”. Press it and the day opens. If you would rather just start talking, press “Straight to the day” under it.

Behind it is the workspace. On a computer it is two columns: the conversation on the left, and panels on the right showing what is due, what is waiting for your yes, and what it kept today. On a phone it is one column, with the panels below the conversation.

Across the top is a thin strip: today's date on the left, then your worlds along a horizon line, with your own world in the middle. It stays there on every page. Wherever you have gone, the line over the date reads “Back to today”, and pressing the date, or your own world, brings you back to the day.

Tell it about your work. Plain sentences are best. Something like:

“Our vac truck rate is $245 an hour with a four hour minimum. Malcolm at the recycling yard takes our loads on Tuesdays and Thursdays.”

It will keep facts like that. Then try asking for one back, later in the day or tomorrow:

“What do we charge for the vac truck?”

And tell it about things you owe people, with the date if you know it:

“I told Javier I'd get him the Safe Storage quote by Friday.”

That becomes a promise. It shows up in “Ripe today” on the right when it is close to due.

• It will not do anything outward without your yes. It does not send email, post anything, or contact anyone. Today it cannot do those things at all.
• What you tell it is yours. It is private to your account until you approve putting something in a world you share with someone.
• There is no list of past chats. The point is that it remembers, so you do not have to go hunting through old conversations. If something is missing, say so, and say it again plainly.

Every screen is written in plain words. When something is not built yet, it says so rather than pretending. If you cannot get in, or a reply stops halfway, the trouble page has what to do.
