Use the AI plan you already pay for with Nirvaana
The real worry
If you already pay for an AI plan, it is fair to wonder whether every new app means another subscription and another place to start over.
You've built up habits in one tool. You don't want to explain yourself again, and you'd like the money you already spend to go further. This post is about one answer to that: Nirvaana does its heavy work on the AI plan you already have, whether that is ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
Who this is for
This is for you if you already pay for ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, and you would like that plan to know your classes, your promises and your week.
No plan at all? That is fine too. Google's free Gemini works with a Google account, and the app sets it up for you during the first run. You don't need to buy a new AI plan to try it.
Which plans work
Nirvaana works with three:
- ChatGPT
- Claude
- Gemini, including Google's free Gemini with a Google account
You connect one when you set up the app. If you pay for more than one, pick the one you like best. Nirvaana with ChatGPT and Nirvaana with Claude go deeper on each.
We don't list prices here, and each company changes its plans from time to time. Check its own pricing page for what your plan includes. Claude's, for example, was checked for this post on 2026-10-17.
What "on the plan you have" means
Nirvaana is not a model, and it does not compete with ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. Your AI is the brain. Nirvaana is the body that knows your world: your classes, your promises, your files and your notes. When a job is heavy, Nirvaana does that work on the plan you connected, rather than asking you to buy something separate for it.
In practice, you might ask Nirvaana to turn a pile of lecture notes into a study guide, or to work through a data problem for a lab. The heavy lifting runs on your own plan.
Each result says where it ran, for example "Ran on your ChatGPT plan." You are never left guessing which account did the work.
The chat itself has its own daily allowance on Nirvaana, apart from your plan.
Nirvaana is still built to stop before it sends, posts, pays, signs or deletes. Doing heavy work on your plan doesn't change that rule.
One Approve, and your tools know your world
One Approve adds Nirvaana to four tools:
- Claude
- Claude Code
- Codex
- Gemini
After that, those tools know your world too. If you've told Nirvaana about your classes, your deadlines or a project, you don't have to re-explain it each time you open one of them. They start with the picture.
It is one decision, not four setups. You press Approve once.
A day, as an example
Say you're Sam, a grad student who already pays for ChatGPT. This is an example, not a real user story.
9:00 a.m. Sam types "Catch me up" in Nirvaana. The problem set for his course is due Friday, and he owes his advisor a reading summary.
10:30 a.m. He asks Nirvaana to work through the analysis for the problem set. The heavy part runs on his own plan, and the result says so. Notebooks in Nirvaana let him write Python and notes on one page, run on his own computer, and he can open any notebook in VS Code when he wants. It is a standard .ipynb file.
2:00 p.m. He opens Codex for a coding project. It already knows about his course and deadlines, because he pressed Approve once to add Nirvaana. He doesn't have to explain himself.
8:00 p.m. He checks Today, where the summary he promised his advisor is still in view. He drafts it and tells Nirvaana it is done.
Why this matters for money and for habits
Paying for several AI tools that each know a little about you gets expensive, and it is tiring. Each one asks you to explain your situation from scratch.
Putting your world in one place and letting your existing plan do the heavy work addresses both. You keep the AI you already like. You stop repeating yourself. And you decide, with one Approve, which tools get to know your world.
If you are not sure whether this fits, nothing forces the choice. You can start with Google's free Gemini, use Nirvaana for classes and promises first, and connect a paid plan or your other tools later.
What you gain, and what you give up
Honestly, here is the trade.
You gain:
- Heavy work that runs on a plan you already pay for, with each result saying where it ran.
- A shared picture of your world across Claude, Claude Code, Codex and Gemini.
- One place for your classes, promises, notes and files.
You should know:
- You connect one AI: ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. Google's free Gemini counts.
- Your plan's own limits still apply to the work done on it. Check your AI company's pages for how they work.
- Nirvaana's own chat has its own daily allowance.
- Nirvaana is available on Mac now. Windows and iPhone are coming soon.
- It is US-only for now.
What stays private
Your own world is yours alone. A shared world is shared only with its people, and nothing from your own world goes into one until you press Approve.
Adding Nirvaana to your other tools is also an Approve you choose to press. We do not train on your world. We sell nothing and share nothing for advertising. You can download your world, or delete your account, from Settings. The details are on the privacy page.
Where to start
- Download Nirvaana for Mac and sign in. Tell it about your classes or projects, and connect Canvas if you take classes.
- Connect the AI you already pay for: ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. No plan? Google's free Gemini works with a Google account, and the app sets it up during the first run.
- Press Approve once when it offers to add itself to your other tools. Then open one and notice that it already knows where you are.
If you want the full picture of how an AI and Nirvaana fit together, Nirvaana with Claude and Nirvaana with ChatGPT lay out what each does well. For a wider look at what's out there, see best AI study tools in 2026.
Set it down. Nirvaana keeps track of your classes, your promises and your week, so your mind can rest.
