Nirvaana with Claude: your Claude plan, now with a body

The short answer

Claude is a thoughtful brain. It explains a reading, tightens an essay, works through code and talks through a decision. What it does not have on its own is a body: your classes, your due dates, the promises you made and a memory of your week.

Nirvaana is that body. It is not a model and it is not trying to out-think Claude. It is one agent that keeps track of your school life, and if you already pay for Claude, it does its heavy work on that plan. So this is less "which one" and more "a brain, and a body for it."

What "a body for the brain" means

A chat with an AI starts with a blank page. It is smart, but it does not know that your problem set is due Friday or that you told a friend you would send your notes.

A body gives the brain four things:

• Your classes and deadlines. Connect Canvas and each class arrives with its files, its facts and every due date.
• Memory. Tomorrow it still knows what you told it today.
• Promises. What you owe and what you are owed, kept in view until it is done.
• Hands. When you say yes, it can do things for you, like adding a reminder or posting to a class group.

Who Claude is for

Claude is for people who want a thoughtful general assistant: explaining a reading, tightening an essay, working through code, talking through a decision.

At the time of writing (October 2026), Anthropic lists three personal plans on its pricing page. Free is $0. Pro is $20 a month billed monthly, or $17 a month with annual billing. Max starts at $100 a month and offers more usage. Prices change, so check their page before you decide.

What Claude is great at

• Thinking. Claude is built and run by Anthropic. If you want to talk to Claude directly, on its own site, that is the place.
• Projects. Claude lets you keep context, instructions and files organized by project. The Free plan includes up to 5.
• Memory. Anthropic describes a memory feature that can remember context from past conversations.
• Connectors. Anthropic lists connectors on all three plans.
• Schools. Anthropic has a Claude for Education offering, and a support article for setting up Claude inside Canvas by Instructure. That setup is done by a school's administrators, so it only applies if your school has chosen it. Ask your school.
• A Free plan. You can start at $0.

What Nirvaana adds

Your classes come in on their own. Connect Canvas and each class you take arrives with its files, its facts and every due date. Nirvaana only reads Canvas. The files are kept on your computer.

"Catch me up." Type it any morning and you get what is due, the late things first.

Promises, both ways. Tell it what you promised, in your own words. It keeps each promise in view until it is done, and it remembers the ones people made to you.

Worlds. A world is one part of your life with the people in it: a class, a club, a team. Your own world is yours alone. Nothing from it goes into a shared world until you press Approve.

Brain and Notebooks. Brain keeps your notes and files on your computer so you can search them. Notebooks put Python and writing on one page, run on your own computer, and open in VS Code whenever you want.

How your Claude plan fits in

Two things happen when Claude and Nirvaana meet.

Claude gets your world. Add Nirvaana to Claude on your phone, on the web, in the desktop app or in Cowork, and Claude knows your classes and promises wherever you use it. Nirvaana's help page has the steps. You sign in on Nirvaana's own page and press Allow, and the connection shows in Nirvaana, where you can sign it out any time.

Nirvaana uses your plan. Connect your Claude plan when you set up the Mac app, and Nirvaana does its heavy work on it. Each result says where it ran, for example "Ran on your Claude plan." In the app, one Approve also adds Nirvaana to Claude, Claude Code, Codex and Gemini, so they all know your world. You can read more in your AI plan, made more useful.

Two things to know. Claude is one of three plans Nirvaana works with: ChatGPT and Gemini work the same way, and with no plan at all, Google's free Gemini works with a Google account. And Nirvaana's own chat has its own daily allowance on Nirvaana, apart from your Claude plan. A day with both

Say you are Sam, a grad student who already pays for Claude. This is an example, not a real user story.

9:00 a.m. Sam types "Catch me up" in Nirvaana. A problem set is due Friday, and he owes his advisor a reading summary.

10:30 a.m. He asks Nirvaana to work through the analysis. The heavy part runs on his Claude plan, and the result says so.

2:00 p.m. He asks Claude, in a separate project, to help outline a paper. It already knows his course and deadlines, because Nirvaana was added to it. He does not explain himself.

8:00 p.m. Today shows the advisor summary is still owed. He drafts it, approves the message and tells Nirvaana it is done.

What stays private

We do not train on your world. We sell nothing and share nothing for advertising. Your own world is yours alone, and a shared world is shared only with its people. Nirvaana is built to stop before it sends, posts, pays, signs or deletes, and hand it to you. The check is automatic and not perfect. You can download your world or delete your account from Settings. • Start each day with "Catch me up," then take the hard task to Claude and let it run on your plan.
• Tell Nirvaana your promises as they happen, so none slip.
