Your calendar

Your calendar is every date Nirvaana keeps for you, in one place: what you promised, what you asked to be reminded of, and the dates of every world you are in. Open “Calendar” at the top of your day, or tap your own world, the sun, on the worlds page.

Only you see your calendar. Each world also has one of its own, for its people.

What is on it

  • Your promises and reminders that have a date.
  • What you asked Nirvaana to ask you about later.
  • When your automations are ready to run.
  • The days you are away.
  • The dates of the worlds you are in, each marked with its world.
  • Your Google Calendar's events, if you connected it (below), marked as Google's.

Choose a month, a week, or a list of what is coming. On a phone it opens as the list. Days are in your own time zone.

Adding something

Press “Add” on your calendar to note a reminder or a promise with a date. It is yours and only you see it.

A world's calendar

Each world you are in has a “Calendar” tab: its deadlines, its goals' dates, the promises between you and someone there, and who is away. Only its members see it; someone who reads the world from a moon sees none of it.

“Add” on a world's calendar proposes a deadline for the world. It waits for your approval before anyone else sees it, like anything else that goes into a shared world.

Your Google Calendar beside it

  1. Open “Connections”, at the foot of the app's sidebar (in a browser, Settings, then “Your connections”).Connect Google Calendar
  2. Under Google Workspace, where you see it, press “Connect Google Calendar” and say yes on Google's page.

Your Google events then show on your calendar, marked as Google's, and Nirvaana can tell you what is coming when you ask. Looking at your calendar never changes your Google Calendar. If you ask Nirvaana to add an event there, it asks you first, and adds only that one. “Disconnect”, on the same page, ends it whenever you like. If there is no Connect button, Google Calendar isn't open here yet.

Your Outlook calendar

If you see Microsoft 365 on “Your connections” and connect it, ask about your Outlook calendar in your own conversation, such as what's on Thursday. Its events aren't drawn on this calendar; only Google Calendar's are.

A world's events

A world's owners and builders can put an event on its calendar: a meeting, a delivery, a day off site. It shows on the world's calendar and on the calendar of everyone in it.

  1. In the Mac or Windows app (0.1.8 or later), open “Calendar” and press “New event”, or drag down across the hours in Day or Week.Add an event
  2. Give it a name, a start and an end (or All day), a place, notes, who to invite and its world, and Save.
  3. Everyone in the world can answer “Going?”: Yes, Maybe or No. Whoever made it, or the world's owner, can drag it to move it, drag its edge to change how long it is, edit it, or cancel it.

Each change can be taken back with Undo for five seconds. The Mac and Windows app has the rest of the calendar there.
